Help for established companies; tools to grow business
Anoka County offers a program to help established businesses with research and tools to enhance business growth. It's called the Economic Gardening Program and it is designed to help mature companies think about business growth opportunities.
The program provides tools to businesses that are often only available to Fortune 500 companies. Forty hours of customized research is offered to businesses to help connect them with four key areas: strategic market research, geographic information systems, search engine optimization and social media marketing. Data and information in these areas can help identify market trends, potential competitors, enhance marketing efforts and help business executives make informed decisions on core strategies that will help the business.
The program also offers monthly roundtable discussions featuring CEOs of local businesses who have experienced significant growth. Speakers are also often brought in to discuss specific topics as well.
