The New Year is ushering in changes related to COVID restrictions here in Minnesota.
On Wednesday, Governor Tim Walz announced the easing of some restrictions. Starting January 11, bars and restaurants are allowed to resume indoor dining at 50 percent capacity with 150 people max. But they must close indoor dining by 10 p.m.
Also, bowling alleys, movie theaters and other indoor entertainment venues can reopen at 25 percent capacity with a maximum of 150 people in each area. No food can be served after 10 p.m.
Classes at gyms and fitness studios were allowed to resume this week. Classes can have up to 25 people.
