Property Tax Statements Arriving Soon

Property tax statements will soon begin arriving in mailboxes across the area. Anoka County says they will be mailed out starting the week of March 29.

Property taxes are used by local government entities to pay for things like roads and infrastructure to public safety and education.

If you want to check out your property tax statement now, you can do so by clicking here. You'll be able to view and even print a copy of your 2021 tax statement. You can also print your valuation notice which shows what your property is currently worth. That value will be used for taxes payable in 2022.

If you don't agree with your value, the first step is to contact the City Assessor's office. Most issues can be resolved through that phone call. Residents can also attend the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization on Tuesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
