The latest Coon Rapids Quarterly Economic Development Report is now available.
In the second quarter of 2022, the valuation of permits issued exceeded $88.6 million, a big increase from the $29.6 million valuation from the same quarter in 2021. Some of the biggest valued projects include a new Fire Station #3 ($9.07M), Walser Hyundai ($8.9M), an industrial building at 9525 East River Road ($8.4M), Amazon Fresh ($4.2M), and remodeling of the Springbrook Target ($3.2M).
As for home prices, the median sales price for a single family homes in Coon Rapids showed signs of stabilizing in the second quarter after two years of significant increases. The median number of days houses spent on the market remained stable, but very low, in the second quarter.
